The holidays are a time to reflect and give thanks. Many families choose to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas enjoying a feast together. Some, however, are unable to travel home or don't have the means to cook a large meal. If this is your situation, the Atlanta Berean Church offers a free meal to those in need.
More than a thousand people were treated to a meal by the Atlanta Berean Seventh-Day Adventist Church, which served up its annual Thanksgiving lunch. The church also provided free health screenings, clothes and even haircuts to those who showed up for the meal.
You don't have to spend the holidays alone.
